Job Description

Job Brief: 

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with experience working in Ranking Systems for a leading e-commerce multinational.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and innovate ranking algorithms by continuously enhancing ranking models, proposing new machine learning techniques, algorithms, and features to improve relevance and adapt to evolving business objectives.
  • Develop and deploy ML-based ranking Systems by designing, implementing, and refining machine learning models to boost search engine rankings, driving key performance metrics such as user engagement, conversion rates, and satisfaction.
  • Enhance ranking quality by assessing ranking performance to identify and address shortcomings in search, browsing, and auto-complete experiences, focusing on personalization, diversity, and relevance.
  • Collaborate across different teams, both technical and business stakeholders, to develop, refine, and integrate ranking functionalities across various platforms and teams.

 

Requirements and skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining ML models, with a strong emphasis on ranking systems for search, recommendations, or related applications.
  • Hands-on experience training, evaluating, and fine-tuning large-scale ML models
  • Strong command of SQL, PySpark, Pandas, and other frameworks for analyzing complex data
  • Proficiency in using big data frame
  • Experienced with ranking models that optimize key metrics such as relevance, personalization, conversion rates, user engagement, and multiple objective optimization.
