Job Brief:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics, design data strategies, and generate insights that enhance decision-making
• Develop and maintain robust data models, automation systems, and reporting frameworks that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators
• Lead the design and implementation of operational and analytical data pipelines, including stream processing solutions
• Continuously evaluate and apply the latest tools and techniques in data engineering and cloud services to enhance product and process efficiency
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions
• Promote a data-driven culture by making complex data accessible and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements and skills:

• Solid experience with stream processing and both operational and analytical data pipelines
• Familiarity with domain-driven design and modern data product design principles
• Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow (or Apache Beam) and Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow)
• Experience using dbt for data transformation and orchestration
• Proficient in Python for data engineering tasks
• Strong analytical mindset focused on delivering practical and impactful solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business insights
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and creative problem-solver with a proactive approach
