Job Description

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Platform Administrator to support, enhance, and govern enterprise Atlassian environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure and services
• Install, configure, operate, and maintain Atlassian applications, including version upgrades, system backups, security hardening, compliance settings, and app/plugin lifecycle management
• Administer users, groups, and permission schemes to ensure appropriate access control across platforms
• Define, enforce, and standardize governance, security standards, and compliance rules throughout all Atlassian instances
• Design, configure, and maintain Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, dashboards, and automation rules to align with business needs
• Provide user support, guidance, and training to promote efficient use of Atlassian tools and adherence to best practices
• Integrate Atlassian products with external systems and services using APIs, connectors, or marketplace apps
• Continuously monitor system health, security controls, and compliance requirements to ensure regulatory adherence

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience administering Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, including configuration, optimization, and marketplace app management
• Advanced expertise in Jira customization, including workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and automation for complex processes
• Proven experience integrating Atlassian platforms with third-party tools such as CI/CD pipelines, collaboration platforms, or other enterprise systems via REST APIs
• Experience managing large-scale Atlassian environments, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and stability improvements
• In-depth understanding of security concepts, access management, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR) within Atlassian ecosystems
• Relevant Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Administrator, Confluence Administrator) are highly desirable
• Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and relational databases (such as PostgreSQL) for troubleshooting and backend support
