Job Brief:

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join a Series B multinational, with offices in Spain, on a fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and operate backend services using Python or Go, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Define, version, and optimize RESTful or gRPC APIs with a strong focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Containerize services using Docker and support deployments using Kubernetes-based orchestration.
  • Design and maintain relational database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL), optimizing queries and data models.
  • Integrate and automate workflows across multiple systems, including data platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and ML tooling.
  • Maintain clean Git workflows, implement automated tests, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage backend services in cloud environments, primarily on AWS.
  • Collaborate with product and R&D teams to transform experimental or prototype code into stable, production-ready APIs or microservices.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Several years of hands-on experience (roughly 2–5) building and operating backend services using Python or Go.
  • Proven ability to design, version, and optimize service interfaces using REST or gRPC.
  • Practical experience containerizing applications with Docker, along with foundational exposure to Kubernetes for service orchestration.
  • Strong working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience connecting and automating workflows across multiple systems, including data platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or ML tooling.
  • Comfortable working with Git-based workflows, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment setups (e.g., GitHub Actions or GitLab CI).
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing services in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Product-focused approach, capable of evolving experimental or research code into reliable, production-grade APIs or microservices.
