Job Brief:

We are seeking a DevOps Project Manager to lead and coordinate infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud-related projects from end to end. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to ensure successful delivery of projects that meet technical, security, and compliance standards. This is a hands-on project management role in a technical environment, combining deep understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and agile project delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, translating complex technical initiatives into clear business outcomes.

This role is based in the company’s offices in Barcelona or Zaragoza, and is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal. The position follows a hybrid working model (3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote) and is open to candidates willing to relocate. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Facilitate project planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and status reviews.
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Ensure projects adhere to architectural standards, security requirements, and compliance guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and platform reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.

 

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong, real-world experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proven experience managing Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or OpenStack.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and containerized environments.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Monday).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, EKS, IAM) or OpenStack equivalents (Nice to have).
  • Experience managing cloud migrations or large-scale infrastructure transformations (Nice to have).
  • Knowledge of OpenStack architecture and operations (Nice to have).
  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect, Scrum Master (Nice to have).
  • Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments (Nice to have).
  • Background in SRE or operational excellence initiatives (Nice to have).
