Job Description

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer to join an international engineering team working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or mechatronic engineering and experience designing industrial machinery, preferably within the packaging sector. 

This role involves close collaboration with a Germany-based team, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop 2D and 3D models of industrial machinery using CAD software  

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical specifications and project requirements  

• Modify and optimize existing designs based on performance, cost, and manufacturability  

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and documentation for production  

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations  

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input  

• Communicate regularly with international stakeholders, particularly with the Germany-based team  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and workflows  

 

Requirements & Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field  

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer in industrial machinery or equipment manufacturing  

• Experience in packaging machinery is highly desirable  

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)  

• Understanding mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes  

• Fluency in English is mandatory  

• German language skills are a strong plus  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with international teams
