Job Brief:

• We are hiring a QA Analyst to join a rapidly growing technology team. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and quality of backend systems by implementing effective testing strategies.
• The position is Remote. Candidates need to be living in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Support the quality assurance efforts across backend systems, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and delivery managers to design effective testing strategies.
• Analyze and refine user stories and requirements to improve test coverage and quality.
• Create test strategies for new features and system updates, ensuring thorough testing.
• Design, write, and document detailed test cases with an emphasis on automation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend services and APIs.
• Help integrate test cases into CI/CD workflows for smoother releases and deployments.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing to identify potential issues early in the process.
• Take part in release management, ensuring the highest standards of quality during fast-paced delivery cycles.
• Track and prioritize bugs, working with the team to resolve them swiftly.

Requirements and skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly with backend testing.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience with API testing (REST, SOAP, RPC, etc.).
• Strong knowledge in test automation, using languages like Java, C#, or similar.
• Experience in developing automated test frameworks and maintaining them.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GoCD).
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of SQL and basic relational database management.
