Job Description

Job Brief:

• We are looking for a Monitoring & Observability Specialist to join a growing Monitoring & Observability team. This professional will be responsible for configuring and managing monitoring and observability tools, ensuring full visibility and performance of IT systems. The role will report directly to the area coordinator and will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize dashboards using multiple datasources (Azure Monitor, InfluxDB, SQL, PRTG, APIs, etc.).

• Integrate monitoring platforms with other observability tools.

• Create, manage, and optimize dashboards and alerting systems.

• Perform log and metric analysis, root cause analysis, and incident troubleshooting.

• Define backlog and prioritize tasks within an Agile framework.

• Set sprint goals and track progress.

• Research and implement new monitoring and observability solutions.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure best practices are applied.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience configuring and operating monitoring and observability platforms.

• Solid hands-on experience with dashboard creation, log/metric analysis, and alerting.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Strong ability to analyze and interpret monitoring data and correlate it with business metrics.

• Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
