Job Brief:

Our client is looking for a motivated QA / Test Engineer to join our payments team. In this role, you’ll help ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our payments infrastructure. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, write and execute tests, contribute to solution design, and develop monitoring/reporting tools. Prior experience in finance or payments is helpful, along with strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.

Test, maintain, and improve key services and features in the payments domain to ensure reliability and performance.
Analyze product requirements, technical dependencies, and system workflows, then design appropriate solutions.
Create and execute unit, functional, end‑to‑end, and performance tests; define acceptance criteria, KPIs, and test scenarios to validate payment infrastructure.
Build reports and dashboards to communicate system health and status with management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate in a cross‑functional agile team under the SAFe framework; learn from domain & technical experts (payments, architecture, mainframe) and contribute to continuous improvement of the team.

1–2 years of hands‑on experience in testing / quality assurance of complex software systems, preferably in finance or payments.
Familiarity with testing strategies and tools, including automation, functional tests, end‑to‑end scenarios, performance / non‑functional tests.
Understanding of payment standards and domain knowledge (e.g. ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA or similar).
Experience from banking, finance or insurance industries
Strong collaboration and communication abilities; able to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working Agile / SAFe environments; proactive, self‑organised, analytical, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
English proficiency is a must.
