Job Description

Job Brief:

  • The Clients treasury team requires additional capacity for analysis, development, testing, and deployment related to the Fund Transfer Solution within the LIQMart platform. The scope of work extends beyond the data warehouse to include interactions with mainframe DB2 and JCL, specifically within a system called UPL. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • This role covers Treasury Datamart, FTP, MIS, and associated functions.

  • Translate business requirements (as features) into technical plans.

  • Collaborate with designers and architects to structure solutions.

  • Execute development and testing of new capabilities.

  • Decode and understand mainframe JCL scripts as part of operational workflows.

  • Ensure DevOps/CI/CD practices are followed (using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Maven)

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Deep understanding of database systems and full lifecycle data modeling using the LIQMart framework

     

  • Ability to interpret and work with mainframe JCL scripts

     

  • Experience developing JAVA-based solutions and deploying them into Kubernetes clusters using the bank’s standard framework, Andromada

     

  • Expertise in data transformations using tools such as IDMC, PowerCenter, Teradata, and MS SQL

     

  • Familiarity with various file formats and their storage behaviors

     

  • Proven capability in optimizing data workflows and ensuring efficient data access

     

  • Experience with both relational and non‑relational databases

     

  • Skilled in DevOps and CI/CD workflows, using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven
