Job Brief:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help design and scale modern data infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on experience in cloud data ecosystems, pipeline development, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines across modern cloud platforms
• Ensure data reliability, consistency, and accessibility across multiple systems
• Partner with analysts, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
• Improve performance and cost efficiency of data processing environments
• Support automation and deployment of data workflows through CI/CD practices
• Contribute to data governance standards and engineering best practices
• Design scalable data models and architectures to support reporting and analytics needs

Requirements & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Databricks
• Solid background in ETL/ELT development and cloud-based data platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform
• Good understanding of data modelling approaches, including Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault
• Experience with DBT and modern data warehousing tools such as Snowflake
• Familiarity with BI/reporting platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire
• Exposure to predictive modelling concepts
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for data environments
• Fluent English communication skills
