Job Brief:
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Paralegal Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day legal and corporate operations of a fast-growing, innovation-driven company.
This role combines traditional paralegal responsibilities with legal operations, focusing on contract lifecycle management, corporate documentation, compliance support, and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external legal advisors. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may evolve.
This is a hybrid position based in Barcelona
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage standard legal documents such as NDAs, CDAs and Statements of Work.
- Keep contracts organized and monitor important dates such as renewals and deadlines.
- Review standard agreements and flag unusual clauses when needed.
- Maintain legal files and contract records in an organized way.
- Support due diligence processes by collecting and organizing documentation.
- Assist with corporate documents, including board documentation, powers of attorney and company records.
- Help maintain compliance documentation, including internal policies and GDPR-related records.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to trademarks, patents and other intellectual property matters.
- Work closely with different departments and external legal advisors to follow up on legal requests.
- Help improve legal processes and documentation as the company grows.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal, Legal Operations, Corporate Legal Support, or similar role.
- Experience working with contracts or legal documentation.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage different tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
- Experience with NDAs, contracts or legal documentation is an advantage.
- Knowledge of intellectual property or compliance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
